GREEN BEAN-TUNA CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. green beans, fresh or frozen, cut 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 1 tbsp. butter 1 (6 oz.) can tuna in water, undrained 1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 12 Saltine crackers, crumbled 3 tbsp. butter Cook beans until just tender; drain. Saute onion and pepper in 1 tablespoon butter until tender. Add, with tuna and soup to cooked beans. Season with salt and pepper. Turn into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Melt 3 tablespoons butter and toss with cracker crumbs; sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. |
