SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN 
In small saucepan, combine:

1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. cold water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
Chicken pieces

Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture bubbles and thickens. (At this time I add store bought sweet and sour mix; it's up to you.) Bake chicken in a hot oven (425 degrees) for 30 minutes. Brush with glaze every 10 minutes. Turn chicken skin side up. Bake another 30 minutes. Brush occasionally with glaze.
