CRANBERRY WHEAT GERM BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans
3 tbsp. grated orange rind
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. halved, raw cranberries
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. wheat germ
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. orange juice

Mix and sift flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in cranberry halves, pecans, wheat germ and orange peel.

Combine egg, orange juice and water. Add to flour mixture; stir just enough to moisten ingredients. Spoon into greased loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3 inches. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until done. Cool in pan 5 minutes, remove and finish cooling on racks.
