CRANBERRY CAKE 
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. halved cranberries

Mix together sugar and butter. Add milk, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Fold in cranberries. Bake in a 9 x 9 inch greased pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

BUTTER SAUCE:

1/2 c. real butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. whipping cream

Mix together, melt and bring to a boil on stove. Serve over cake.

NOTE: A double recipe makes 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
