CLASSIC PECAN PIE | |
3 eggs, slightly beaten 1 c. light or dark Karo syrup 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. pecans 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell In a large bowl, stir first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake on cookie sheet in lower third of oven until knife when inserted in center of pie comes out clean, 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. Do not over bake. |
