1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Manischewitz's Matzo Meal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. applesauce
2 or 3 eggs
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. oil

Beat eggs and sugar together until sugar is dissolved. Add applesauce and mix well. Add oil. Mix and sift flour, soda, and baking powder. Add to the other mixture. Then put raisins, cinnamon and allspice together and add to mixture. Bake in moderate oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Invert pan, allow cake to cool before removing from pan.
