TWINKIE DESSERT 
2 boxes Twinkies
2 pkgs. (12 oz. each) chocolate chips
6 eggs, separated
1/3 c. sugar
2 lg. containers Cool Whip

Cut Twinkies in thirds lengthwise. Beat egg whites until fluffy, set aside. Melt chocolate and sugar, cool slightly. Stir in egg yolks. Fold in whites. Layer in thirds: Twinkie, chocolate mixture, Cool Whip. Top with Cool Whip, nuts and maraschino cherries. Refrigerate overnight. Serves 15.
