CRUNCH BARS 
CRUST:

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
Miniature marshmallows

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Spread in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven, place marshmallows evenly on crust. Return to oven for 2 minutes. Cool 30 minutes. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter. Add cereal. Mix, then spread on bars.
