BAKED CINNAMON APPLES 
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 c. red cinnamon candies
6 med. size baking apples, peeled, cored & quartered

Bring water and sugar to a boil. Add candies and stir until melted. Place apples in a 7 1/2 x 11 3/4 inch baking dish; pour syrup over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn apples over, bake 20 more minutes. Basting with syrup. You may leave apples whole and bake for 40 minutes.
