GRANDMA K'S QUICKIE CHILI 
1/4-1/2 c. chopped onion, sauteed
2-3 sm. cloves garlic (minced or chopped)
1/2 green pepper, chopped (optional)
1-1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef or turkey
16 oz. Thick and Hearty Ragu sauce (with or without mushrooms)
1 can kidney beans, undrained
1/2 pkg. McCormick's chili seasoning mix (mild); OR 1 pkg. mix (hot)
1/4-1/2 c. water

Saute onion, garlic and pepper. Add 1-1 1/2 pounds lean beef or turkey. Brown or cook until no longer pink. Add Ragu sauce, kidney beans, seasoning mix and water. Stir to dissolve seasoning mix. (If you prefer, mix and water could be combined, then added to meat mixture.)

Bring all to slight boil. Lower heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed or mixture thickens.
