TURKEY BARLEY SOUP | |
1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped celery 1 tbsp. butter 3 sm. cans chicken broth 3 c. water 1 (16 oz.) can tomato puree 1-2 c. chopped turkey 1/2 c. quick barley or 1/3 c. regular barley 1 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. poultry seasonings 3 or 4 slices carrots Cook onion and celery in butter until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Cover. Bring to a boil. Simmer 30 minutes if using quick barley. Simmer 1 hour if using regular barley. |
