ROCK ROAD BROWNIES | |
4 squares (4 oz.) bittersweet chocolate 1 c. (2 sticks) butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs, room temp. 1 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. miniature marshmallows 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9"x13" baking pan. Melt chocolate and butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and add sugar, blending well. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour and vanilla. Add the marshmallows, chocolate chips and nuts. Bake 40 to 45 minutes. This is a delicious brownie and the end result is a soft, chewy brownie with a glaze on the top (results of the marshmallows). It should not be too dry in the middle. |
