HEALTH BRAN MUFFINS 
3 c. unprocessed bran
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. boiling water
3/4 c. raw honey
2 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. wheat germ (untoasted)
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix bran, water, and butter; then mix the other ingredients in it. Bake at 400 degrees for minutes; check first.

ADDITIONS:

Walnuts, candied fruit, raisins, coconut, etc. Reduce honey if you add any sugared items.
