1 1/2 c. Mazola oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. raw apples with peel
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Mix oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients. Add to mixture. Fold in nuts and apples. Dough may be stiff and hard to mix. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Sprinkle cake with sifted powdered sugar before baking.
