1/2 c. soy sauce 2 tbsp. sugar 1 garlic clove 1/4 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 c. chopped onions 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. salad oil Rib eye, 1 to 1 1/4 inches, 4-5 lb. chuck steak, 1 1/2 inch thick Cubed sirloin Prick meat on both sides and let stand in the refrigerator all afternoon or overnight. Turn several times. Quarter onions if using for kabobs. Broil for each side: 10-12 minutes for rare, 12-14 minutes for medium, 14-16 minutes for well done. Over the years we've tried others but still prefer this recipe I've had for 36 years! |
