BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 lbs. round steak
4 tbsp. Crisco
Dash of flour with salt
Sm. onion, chopped
1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 beef bouillon cube

Cut steak into strips and roll in flour and salt mixture; brown in Crisco. Add onion, soup, sour cream, and bouillon cube. Add some water as it simmers. Simmer 2 hours or until meat is tender. Add mushrooms (optional). Serve over rice or noodles or with potatoes.
