CRAB A LA CONWAY | |
2-3 lbs. crabmeat (Alaskan, King or whatever) 1 head broccoli or 1/2 broccoli, 1/2 cauliflower SAUCE: 1 stick butter 1/3 c. flour 1 c. chicken bouillon 1 c. evaporated milk 1 c. good white wine (dry) Salt and pepper 1/2 c. grated Parmesan Melt butter in pan, slowly stirring in flour and cooking over low heat. Gradually add other sauce ingredients and stir. Save grated cheese for topping. Pre-cook a little veggies, place them in the bottom of casserole. Cover with crab and pour sauce over. Cover with cheese and bake at 350 until cheese is melted and golden brown, 30-45 minutes depending on your oven. Chicken or veal can be used instead of crab. |
