SPICED HOLIDAY PUNCH 
1 qt. cranberry juice cocktail
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 stick cinnamon
1/4 c. whole cloves
3 qt. ginger ale, chilled

Pour 1 cup cranberry juice in small pan and add brown sugar and salt. Add spices (tied in small cloth bag). Simmer for 20 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes longer. Remove spices and combine the spiced juice with the remaining juice. Chill in refrigerator until ready to use. Mix with ginger ale just before serving. 15 (6-8 ounce) servings.
