STUFFED PEPPERS 
2 lg. green peppers, parboiled
1 lb. ground turkey
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. raisins
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
4 c. stewed tomatoes
2 c. cooked brown rice

Cut pepper in half, remove stems and seeds. Parboil in boiling water for 8 minutes. Dip into cold water and drain. Brown meat in non-stick fry pan slowly. Add onion and garlic and cook 2 minutes. Add tomato sauce, raisins, spices, and stewed tomatoes. Simmer 15 minutes. Place peppers, open side up, in baking dish. Pour filling into and around peppers. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with rice.
