4 c. raw apples, chopped and sliced
2 eggs, broken over apples
1/2 c. oil, stir until apples are coated
2 c. white sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix together and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

ICING:

1 c. white sugar
1/4 c. butter or 1/2 stick
1/4 c. milk

Boil 1 minute; let cool; beat and spread. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
