The taste is sure to please your family. Try this chicken/broccoli recipe or any of the other great combinations below: 1 pkg. (10 oz.) Birds Eye chopped broccoli 1 c. Minute Rice 1 c. diced cooked chicken 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 c. milk 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1 med. onion, chopped To prepare in the oven: Place vegetable in 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes to partially thaw. Stir in rice, chicken, soup, liquid (milk), half the cheese and the flavor addition (onion); then sprinkle with remaining cheese. bake for 45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Makes 5 cups of 3 servings. To prepare in a skillet: Thaw vegetable in saucepan over low heat, separating with fork. Stir in rice, chicken, soup, liquid (milk), half the cheese and the flavor addition (onion). Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Microwave directions: Place frozen vegetable in 1 1/2 quart nonmetal baking dish. Cook at high power for 2 minutes to partially thaw. Stir in rice, chicken, soup, milk, half the cheese and the onion; cook 6 minutes. Stir; sprinkle with remaining cheese and cook 5 minutes longer. Try these delicious combinations: Chopped spinach, ham, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Swiss cheese, 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Peas, frankfurters, cream of celery soup, milk, American, 1 tablespoon prepared mustard. Cut green beans, turkey, cream of chicken soup, milk, Mozzarella cheese, 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper. |
