1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. chopped nuts
2 c. sugar
2 c. quick oats
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine butter, sugar and milk in a medium size pot. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes more. Remove from heat and add oats, cocoa, vanilla, and nuts. Mix very quickly and drop on wax paper with a teaspoon. Let set until firm.
