1 can Comstock apple pie filling (any fruit filling can be used)
1 (9 oz.) box Jiffy yellow cake mix
1 pkg. shelled pecans
1 tsp. almond extract
3/4 stick butter

Mix 1 teaspoon almond extract into pie filling. Pour into oblong pan, 7 1/2 x 11 x 1 1/2 inch deep. Sprinkle box of cake mix over filling. Sprinkle pecans. Dot with butter slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
