FROSTED FRUIT 
1 tbsp. water
2 egg whites
1/2 c. granulated sugar
Grapes, cherries, currants, strawberries

Whisk egg whites and water until frothy but not stiff. Place the sugar in a shallow bowl. Dip fruits by bunches or individual pieces into egg white. Use a pastry brush to make sure the entire fruit is covered with liquid. Now dip fruit into sugar, pouring the sugar over the fruit with a teaspoon until fruit is completely covered. Shake off excess sugar and dry on wire rack. Decorate pudding and other festive dishes or use in a stemmed bowl as a centerpiece.
