GRANDMOM CARRIE'S SHORTBREAD 
1 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
4 tbsp. cornstarch

Soften butter to room temperature. Cream butter and sugar together. Add flour and cornstarch until mixed well. Pat into cookie sheet - mark with fork. Bake 350 for 1/2 hour. Cut into squares while hot.
