GRAPE BEET JELLY | |
Peel and dice 4 large beets. Cover with water and bring to a boil; simmer 20 minutes. Drain and save juice. Discard beets. Bring 4 cups beet juice and 1 package Sure Jell to a hard boil. Add 4 cups sugar, 1 cup at a time to juice mixture. Bring to a boil after each 1 cup addition. After all sugar is added, bring to boil and boil 1 minute. Remove from burner and add 2 packages grape Kool Aid. Put in hot jars. Seal. |
