NO - WAIT YEAST ROLLS 
5 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening

Mix above ingredients. Cut in shortening.

2 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. hot water

Add water to yeast and stir until thick. Add to flour mixture. Then add:

2 c. buttermilk

No waiting to rise. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Fold in half. Bake at 400 degrees until brown, about 20 minutes. Brush with butter when removed from oven. Makes 3 dozen.
