SAUSAGE AND CABBAGE 
1 lb. Polish sausage, sliced thin
1 med. onion, sliced
1 lb. shredded cabbage
3 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. butter
1 lg. green pepper, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
3-4 sliced mushrooms (optional)

Place all ingredients in microwave casserole dish. Cover and cook full power for 10 minutes or until vegetables are cooked to desired level. Stir every 2 1/2 minutes. This recipe can be done in a large skillet. Simmer, covered, for approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
