SMOTHERED CABBAGE WITH SAUSAGE 
4 bacon slices, chopped
1 lb. sweet (mild) Italian sausage, skinned and crumbled
1 onion, sliced into rings
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 tbsp. Lawry's hot and spicy seasoned salt (if you do not want it hot use reg. Lawry's reg. seasoned salt)
1/4 tsp. Lawry's garlic powder with parsley
1/4 tsp. Lawry's seasoned pepper
1 med. cabbage, shredded

In a large heavy saucepan, fry bacon and sausage until browned. Add onion, bell pepper, and seasonings; saute, stirring occasionally. Add cabbage and stir.

Cover and cook over low heat until you get cabbage to the point you like it done.
