PECAN PUFFS | |
1/2 c. butter (must use butter) 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. ground pecans (this amount may vary) 1 c. cake flour (must use Soft-a-Silk) Butter and Soft-a-Silk are what make these delicious treats melt-in-your mouth!! Stir the pecans and the cake flour into the butter mixture. Roll the dough into small balls. (I make mine smaller than most other people.) Place them on a greased baking sheet. Bake them in a slow oven, 300 degrees for about 30 minutes with small balls and 45 minutes with large balls. Roll the puffs while hot in confectioners' sugar. When cold, roll them again in confectioners' sugar. Remember, don't let the balls over bake in the oven. |
