PECAN PUFFS 
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar, sifted

Cream butter until soft. Blend in sugar until creamy. Add vanilla, stir in flour and vanilla; add pecans. Roll dough into small balls. Place on well-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes, then roll hot puffs in powdered sugar, then again when cool. Yield: 24 puffs.
