BLACK BOTTOM FOUR LAYER DESSERT 
CRUST:

3/4 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs

2ND LAYER:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
1 c. granulated sugar

3RD LAYER:

1 lg. pkg. instant chocolate pudding
2 1/2 c. cold milk

TOPPING:

More Cool Whip and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Mix all ingredients for crust and put into a 9x13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool.

For second layer, mix softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust.

For third layer, mix chocolate pudding and milk with electric mixer until smooth. Spread on second layer. Top with Cool Whip and nuts. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
