CHILI CORNBREAD | |
Your favorite cornbread recipe 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1 (#303) can chili, heated 1/4 c. diced onions Prepare the cornbread batter and pour it into a well greased skillet that has been preheated to 350 degrees. Cook the cornbread until it is firm around the edges. Remove the skillet from the oven and pour the heated chili into the center of the cornbread. Sprinkle the onion over the chili and place the skillet back in the oven. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until cornbread tests done. Sprinkle with grated cheese and heat until the cheese melts. |
