HO-HO CAKE 
1 devil's food or other chocolate cake mix

Bake cake following package directions. I make two tiara pans and one 9-inch round pan.

Filling:

3 tbsp. flour
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook milk, flour and 1/2 cup sugar until thickened; cover and cool. Cream butter, Crisco, 1/2 cup sugar, salt and vanilla until fluffy. Add cooled flour/milk mixture and beat until fluffy. Spread filling between layers of cake.

Chocolate Glaze:

2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. water
1 c. confectioners sugar (more if needed for desired consistency)
2 tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. vanilla

In small saucepan over low heat, melt butter; add cocoa and water. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened. Do not boil. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Gradually blend in confectioners sugar and vanilla. Spread on top of cake starting in the middle and let it go over the edge of the cake. Store cake in refrigerator or where it is cool.
