STRATA 
6 to 8 slices of bread, remove crust
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 tsp. mustard
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs
2 c. half and half
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of pepper
1 med. onion

Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan with Crisco. (Best to use glass pan.) Place slices of bread on bottom. Brown and drain sausage, sprinkle over bread slices. Sprinkle cheese over sausage. Combine eggs, mustard, Worcestershire, nutmeg, pepper, onions and half and half in large bowl. Pour over cheese and sausage; cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Strata is done when fork inserted in middle comes out clean.
