FUDGE NOUGATS 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. evaporated milk (substitute 1 c. milk - 2 tbsp. plus 2 tbsp. butter)
1 c. chocolate chips (6 oz.)
3/4 c. flour
1 c. finely crushed graham crackers
3/4 c. walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine in saucepan the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in chocolate chips, flour, graham cracker crumbs, walnuts, and vanilla. Spread in a well buttered 12 x 8 inch pan or 9 x 9 inch pan. If desired, top with walnut halves, one for each piece. Cool, for faster setting, refrigerate. Makes 40 pieces. GOOD!
