FUDGE NOUGATS 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. flour
1 c. finely crushed graham crackers
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, butter, and milk in saucepan. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in chocolate chips, flour, graham crackers, walnuts, and vanilla. Spread in well buttered 12 x 8 inch or 9 x 9 inch pan. If desired, top with walnut half. Cool. Makes 40 pieces.

For a richer chocolate flavor, increase chocolate chips to 2 cups or add 1/4 cup cocoa to the evaporated milk mixture before cooking.
