CORNED BEEF & CABBAGE 
3-4 lb. beef, corned brisket
6 boiling potatoes, peeled
6 wedges white cabbage
2 cloves garlic, minced
Water

Place corned beef and garlic in large kettle. Cover with water, bring to a boil, skim, reduce heat. Simmer for 3 hours or until tender. Remove meat, add cabbage and potatoes to liquid, cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Quarter potatoes, if large to cook. Serve with corned beef for a Happy St. Patrick's Day. Serves 4-6 people.
