SUMMER SAUSAGE | |
4 lbs. ground beef 2 c. water 2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. liquid smoke 6 tbsp. Morton's Tender Quick Curing Salt 1 tsp. pepper Mix all ingredients. form into 3 or 4 rolls. Wrap tightly in foil. Let stand in refrigerator 24 hours. Poke holes in bottom, sides and top of foil. Put in cake pan and bake for 2 hours at 325 degrees. Will keep 2 to 3 weeks in refrigerator. Can also freeze. (Remove from foil and wrap in plastic bags, plastic wrap or freezer paper.) |
