SWEET SOUR SHRIMP OR FISH OR
PORK
 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. egg water mixture
1 tsp. cooking oil, cold

1 tablespoon beaten egg and enough water to make 1/2 cup.

SWEET SOUR SAUCE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. Accent (optional)
2/3 c. water

Mix batter into smooth paste. Mix small size shrimp, fish cubes or pork cubes into batter and deep fry.

Sauce: Bring ingredients to a boil. Add 1 cup vinegar. Add cornstarch to thicken (about 3 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch to 1/3 cup water.) Add 1 tablespoon hot oil.

When seafood or pork is cooked, add to the meat and sauce, pineapple, carrots, green peppers, onions, cauliflowers and tomatoes as desired. Create a nice mix of color.
