CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. EACH salt, baking soda and baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (10 oz.) jar cherries
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 10 minutes.

In large bowl, sift dry ingredients. In another bowl cream butter, sugar, add egg and vanilla. Mix all together. Roll into 1 inch balls, place on cookie sheet (ungreased) press center for cherry. Bake.

In double boiler melt chocolate chips and condensed milk. Add 4 teaspoons cherry juice, more if desired. When cookies are able to be handled, place a cherry in the indentation. Dab cherry with chocolate mixture to frost. Sinfully Good!
