GREEN TOMATO MINCEMEAT 
4 qts. (after grinding) green tomatoes
4 qts. chopped peeled tart apples
2 lbs. raisins, chopped
1 c. ground beef suet
1 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. each cinnamon and salt
1 tsp. each ground cloves and allspice
2 lbs. brown sugar
1/2 c. molasses

Force tomatoes through food chopper; drain. put in large kettle and cover with boiling water. Boil for 5 minutes. Drain and repeat. Drain and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; simmer until thick. Put into hot sterilized jars and seal. Makes 6 pints.

For Pie: Sprinkle mincemeat with seedless raisins and dot with butter. Adjust top crust and bake in preheated oven (425 degrees) for 30 minutes.
