LOMA ARTIS MC'S GREEN TOMATO
MINCEMEAT
 
1 peck (10 lbs.) ground green tomatoes
2 tbsp. salt
1/2 peck (5 lbs.) ground apples
5 lbs. brown sugar
1/2 lb. ground suet
2 tbsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. ground cloves
1 c. vinegar
2 lbs. raisins

Drain green tomatoes; throw away liquid. Add as much water as there was liquid to the tomatoes and boil for a few minutes. Repeat this three times. Add other ingredients. Cook one hour and seal in jar while hot. (Makes approximately 9 quarts.)
