STRAWBERRY BAVARIAN PIE 
1 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry flavored gelatin
1 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen, sweetened strawberries
1 c. whipped topping
1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled

Dissolve gelatin, sugar, and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and frozen strawberries. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until slightly thickened, about 30 minutes. Add whipped topping, blending until smooth. (Mixture may appear slightly curdled, but will smooth out on blending.) Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Garnish with additional whipped topping and mint leaves, if desired. Serves 6 to 8.
