JEWELL'S BEER BREAD | |
3 c. self-rising flour 3 tbsp. sugar 1 (12 oz.) can beer, at room temperature 1 stick butter, melted Lightly mix together flour, sugar and beer into a lumpy batter. Pour into greased 8x4 inch loaf pan. Pour 1/3 of melted butter over batter and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Pour half of remaining butter over bread and bake 10 minutes. Pour rest on and bake 10 minutes. Eat warm, yummy! |
