CANDIED FRUIT CAKE 
1 lb. white raisins
1 lb. whole candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. coconut
1/2 lb. mixed fruit
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. double acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
6 lg. eggs
1 c. granulated sugar (mixed with eggs)
2 lbs. pecan halves

Oven at 275 degrees. Bake about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Put all fruit and coconut together, mix thoroughly. Add 2 cups sifted flour mixed with baking powder and salt, mix well.

Mix eggs and 1 cup sugar, mix well and pour over fruit and coconut mixture. Mix again then add 2 pounds of pecan halves, mix real good.

Put brown paper in bottom and sides of 9 inch loaf pan greased on pan side. Put ingredients in pan and pack real hard, then bake.
