1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 3/4 c. flour

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Blend in flour etc. Shape dough in 1 inch balls. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. (2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.) Bake 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
