MA MA ROSE'S OATMEAL COOKIES 
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. brown sugar
1 1/3 c. white sugar
2 c. butter, 1 lb.
6 c. oatmeal
2 tbsp. mayonnaise

Add one or all of the following:

2 c. raisins or dates, chopped
2 c. nuts, chopped up
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

(I use all of them.)

Mix all ingredients togehter. Take a teaspoon to scoop each cookie onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. This recipe makes a double batch. If desired, you can freeze half the batch, until a later baking day.

These are the best oatmeal cookies I have ever had. Mom used to make them for holidays and special blessings for us kids. Enjoy!
