COLD OVEN POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. cake flour
3 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla & 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream butter, Crisco gradually add sugar and cream well.

Add eggs. One at a time, beating well after each. Add flour alternately with milk.

Stir in vanilla & lemon flavorings.

Pour in large tube pan.

Place in cold oven. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours.
