1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
5 eggs
3 c. Swans Down cake flour
3 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. almond or lemon flavoring
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco (solid)

Cream butter and Crisco with sugar. Add eggs, baking powder, salt, flavoring, flour and milk. Pour mixture in a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
